How to get there

Directions
The clinic is located at the Radiotherapy Department (GenesisCare), The Park Centre for Oncology, Sherwood Lodge Drive, Burntstump Country Park, Nottingham NG5 8RX. It is situated separately from the main hospital, offering patients a dedicated and easily accessible environment.

By car:
We are located just off the A60, between Mansfield and central Nottingham. From the M1, leave at junction 27 and take the A608 onto the A611, follow onto the B6011 and the A60.

Car parking:
There is plenty of free on-site parking. Our radiotherapy centre is located on the site of BMI The Park Hospital. If you arrive by car, when you enter the site please turn left – the centre is located in a separate building in the walled car park. There are dedicated car parking spaces next to the centre.

During your initial appointment at the Nottingham centre, you’ll meet with Dr Shaffer, who will review your medical history, assess your current condition, and discuss your symptoms in detail. We will outline suitable treatment options and answer any questions you may have. If you decide to proceed with treatment, you may also see a radiographer immediately following your consultation with Dr Shaffer, which will last approximately 30 minutes in addition to your appointment with Dr Shaffer.

Our Nottingham centre is open from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm. Please note that appointments with Dr Shaffer are available by prior arrangement only.
