Clinic opening:
Please note that the clinic will open in March, 2026. However, you can joint the wait list to see Dr Shaffer at the new clinic. Until the Manchester clinic opens, the nearest clinic is Nottingham and he also runs a regular weekly clinic in London, and invite people to be seen there if they want an earlier appointment. ​

Visiting by car & parking:
Our clinic is located on Talbot Road in the centre of Alderley Edge, postcode SK9 7HR. If you are using a sat nav, please enter the full postcode to be directed straight to the clinic. There is an on-site car park with designated bays close to the entrance for patients. On arrival, drive into the medical centre car park, choose any appropriate patient space, and then follow the short, level path to the main entrance on Talbot Road.

Visiting by public transport:
The nearest train station is Alderley Edge, which is a short walk from Alderley Edge Medical Centre on Talbot Road. From Alderley Edge station, turn onto the village centre (London Road), then follow local signs towards Talbot Road; the medical centre is a few minutes’ walk from the station and clearly signposted as “Alderley Edge Medical Centre”. Several local bus services, including routes that stop near Clifton Street and the village centre, also serve Alderley Edge, from where it is only a short walk to the clinic.

During your initial appointment at our Manchester clinic, you’ll meet with Dr Shaffer, who will review your medical history, assess your current condition, and discuss your symptoms in detail. We will outline suitable treatment options and answer any questions you may have. If you decide to proceed with treatment, you may also see a radiographer immediately following your consultation with Dr Shaffer, which will last approximately 30 minutes in addition to your appointment with Dr Shaffer.

Our Manchester clinic will be open from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm. Please note that appointments with Dr Shaffer are available by prior arrangement only.
