How to get there
Directions:
Our Wimbledon clinic is based at the Cancer Centre London, 49 Parkside, Wimbledon, London SW19 5NB. When you arrive, please check in at the main reception - our team will be ready to assist you. The centre is situated next to Wimbledon Common and is conveniently accessible by both car and public transport, making it easy to reach for patients from South-West London and surrounding areas.
By car:
If you’re driving, take the A3 and exit at Tibbet’s Corner, then follow Parkside (A219) towards Wimbledon Village. The Cancer Centre London is on the right-hand side, just before the junction with Copse Hill. Limited on-site parking is available, and there is additional parking nearby.
By train or tube:
Wimbledon station is served by South Western Railway, Thameslink and the London Underground District line. From the station, the clinic is approximately 10 minutes by taxi or bus. Raynes Park station is also nearby and offers convenient taxi access to the centre.

What should I expect during my first consultation in Wimbledon?
During your initial appointment at the Wimbledon centre, you’ll meet with Dr Shaffer, who will review your medical history, assess your current condition, and discuss your symptoms in detail. We will outline suitable treatment options and answer any questions you may have.
If you decide to proceed with treatment, you may also see a radiographer immediately following your consultation with Dr Shaffer, which will last approximately 30 minutes in addition to your appointment with Dr Shaffer.
Is parking available at the Wimbledon centre for patients?
The centre is easily accessible by public transport, making it convenient for patients traveling from various parts of south-west London and beyond. For those arriving by car, the centre also offers free on-site parking, ensuring a hassle-free experience for our patients.
What are the opening hours for the Wimbledon centre?
Our Wimbledon centre is open from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Please note that appointments with Dr Shaffer are available by prior arrangement only.
