The Radiotherapy Department (GenesisCare) is located within Cromwell Hospital at 164–178 Cromwell Road, Kensington, London SW5 0TU. When you arrive at the main reception, please inform staff you have an appointment with GenesisCare. They will direct you to the lifts for the radiotherapy unit on Level -1. Signage is available throughout the hospital.
By car:
We are located just off the A4 and A3220 in West London. While Cromwell Hospital is not within the congestion charge zone, you may need to cross it depending on your route. Please allow extra time for traffic and parking in central London. You’re welcome to park for free at the Sainsbury’s just around the corner, located at 158a Cromwell Rd, London SW7 4EJ. It’s only a 2-minute walk from Cromwell Hospital.
By tube:
The nearest stations are Earl’s Court (District and Piccadilly lines – step-free access available), Gloucester Road (Circle and District lines), and High Street Kensington (Circle and District lines). All are a short walk from the hospital.

What should I expect during my first consultation in Cromwell?
During your initial appointment at the Cromwell centre, you’ll meet with Dr Shaffer, who will review your medical history, assess your current condition, and discuss your symptoms in detail. If you decide to proceed with treatment, you may also see a radiographer immediately following your consultation with Dr Shaffer, which will last approximately 30 minutes in addition to your appointment with Dr Shaffer.

Our Cromwell centre is open from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm. Please note that appointments with Dr Shaffer are available by prior arrangement only.
